Abstract

Documentation of predator-prey interactions is essential for understanding the trophic relationships and ecology of the species involved; however, direct observation of them is rare. We describe a predation event of Anolis sagrei Duméril & Bibron, 1837 by Rhinella horribilis (Wiegmann, 1833) in the urban area of Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico, providing novel information on the trophic relationship between these species, whose association with anthropized environments is very close.
